Contemporary Stokesley through to final

Contemporary Stokesley had been put through to the grand final of the British Hairdressing Business Award, a prestigious competition run by the industry publication Hairdressers Journal.

Katie Fisher entered the award in the category of Salon of the Year and has just had her formal notification of being successfully through to the grand final, which is held during a lavish dinner reception at The Lancaster Hotel, London on the 12th September.

The panel of judges is made up from noted hairdressers, industry experts and category sponsors, the awards are to reward and recognise individuals and salons that excel in business within the hairdressing industry.

This will be the second time that Katie and her salon have made it to the final and this year is feeling confident. She said ‘our business has continued to grow in a difficult economic times by being the very best that we can be and for this to be recognised by the Hairdressers Journal is in itself an honour.’
The salon in Stokesley won the Contemporary Salon of the Year award at a red carpet event held at Guisborough Hall earlier this year.
